Paul W. Taylor Co., Inc. Moving & Storage was founded in Massachusetts in 1976 by the current president, Paul W. Taylor. Since our inception we have grown with the business community surrounding the Metro Boston marketplace, establishing a client base of major corporations, start-up enterprises as well as many satisfied homeowners.
Taylor joined United Van Lines in 1990. This step has allowed our customers to benefit from the largest agent network and the most detailed quality measurement system in the moving and storage industry. Among many of the awards that we have received, we have most recently won the prestigious President's Award, Agent of the Month Award, as well as the Van Operator of the Month Award from United Van Lines.
The company currently operates 130,000 square feet of warehouse space. We maintain a large fleet of specialized equipment and operate as a full service United Van Lines agent in Wakefield, Massachusetts.
We also have operations in Salem, New Hampshire with 55,000 square feet of warehousing as well as being a full service United Van Lines agent in that marketplace.

Paul W. Taylor Co., Inc. is an agent for United Van Lines, which is rated the number one van line in the industry. This rating is a result of our ability to consistently service our customers in an efficient and professional manner. United Van Lines is an international company comprised of over 900 agencies. We work together with these agencies to properly service all shipments.Paul W. Taylor Co., Inc. operates its own hauling fleet of modern equipment dispatched from our Wakefield, MA headquarters. We also make use of United Van Lines extensive hauling fleet to assist with shipments throughout the country. United Van Lines can even provide a FastPath® express system to service smaller, more urgent shipments. This system consists of 36 scheduled express routes that deliver to 630 cities coast-to-coast in seven days or less, 52 weeks a year. The Taylor agency is a scheduled stop on this express route. We can service a shipment directly from our warehouse through this system and get the order delivered in a safe and timely manner.
Paul W. Taylor Co., Inc. also operates its own courier service in eastern New England which is capable of providing service for small, same day or time sensitive, regional packages.
